Upcoming Events

August 28
This Thursday we are going to have another IIJ night at Pete's apartment starting at 7:30pm.  So what is IIJ?  It is a time of intense prayer using the Word to offer up intercession to God the Father through the power of the Holy Spirit.  This week, we are going to focus on Psalm 40-42 (FYI, with music in the background).

September 1
Bible Class- We are learning about the Holy Spirit through scripture references.  Join us as we learn and discuss how the Spirit moves and shapes us, today.

Sunday night is the "blended" worship service in the auditorium from 5-6pm. Let's come and worship as a united church family. Plans for an activity after the service are forming, so keep the evening open.

September 7
After the second service on this Sunday, the women's ministry will be hosting a luncheon for all the ladies in the congregation.  Be sure to sign up by next Sunday (9/1).

October 4
Saturday October 4th will be moving day for Bob.  The fun starts at Brad's house around 8:00 am and will progress from there.  If you are willing and able to assist please call or e-mail Bob for more information. Editor's note- I know that Bob has helped at least half of the people in our ministry either move or with other acts of service, so let's plan to be there for Bob!

The Fall
Active Believers Living Exceptionally (ABLE) Ministries- ABLE, the ministry devoted for caring with children with special needs, is in need for "a few good men (or women) for the upcoming T-ball season.  The T-ball season will begin on September 6th.  Rachel needs volunteers for team "coaches".  It is a pretty simple job that does not require any athletic ability or knowledge.  Instead, it requires a willingness to communicate with the kids and parents and help keep the game going.  Contact us for more information.
